Blockchain roundabout to be unveiled in Kranj next week

The municipality of Kranj will unveil a world first Blockchain roundabout next week in the city of Kranj. Representatives of Slovenian government will attend an opening ceremony.  2100NEWS will be there to bring you all the details.

The opening ceremony will take place next Tuesday, 13th March 2018 at 15:00 CET. There is an idea behind the blockchain themed roundabout. It is to show the support of the municipality of Kranj for the ideals represented by the blockchain as one of the most revolutionary technological innovations of our time.

Blockchain is poised to disrupt many industries ranging from healthcare to government, law and energy to name just a few.  It is gathering strong support in Slovenia, which is hoping to become the destination of choice for blockchain based projects.

The mayor of Kranj, Boštjan Trilar, will be present at the opening ceremony as will Bitcoin Slovenija president Jure Pirc and members of the Slovenian Government.

Two well known blockchain companies based in Kranj 3fs and Bitstamp supported the project.
