Tokens and coins that moved the most in the last 24 hours:

Top movers of the day are Zcoin and Sero. Since 6 pm Zcoin has increased by 1.17% (+21.93% as of 8:30 am) and Sero by 0.34% (+16.69% as of 8:30 am). In the evening SmartCash moved up the most (+8.38% as of 6 pm).

Most tokens and coins ended the day in green. The coins measured by 2100NEWS DA Coin Index (NWSCo100) ended +2.04%. Their movement can be seen on the adjacent NWSCOT chart over the past 24 hours. The tokens based on Ethereum represented by 2100NEWS DA Ethereum Based Index (NWSET100) ended +0.53%. Our main 2100NEWS Digital Assets Total Index (NWST1100) ended +1.79%. Bitcoin and Ether also ended the day higher: BTC +2.02% and ETH +0.86%.

SmartCash (SMART)

SmartCash is a community-centric cryptocurrency, where community and development come first. 80% of the block reward has been allocated to fund SmartHive community proposals as well as the Hive Teams. 20% of the remaining block reward has been allocated to Mining (5%) and SmartRewards (15%).

Top movers of the day at 18:10 are Zcoin and Sero. Since 1 pm Zcoin has soared 15.41% while Sero has fallen by 0.45%. GoChain has increased by 7.49%.

In the afternoon the crypto markets went up again. Since 1 pm the coins measured by 2100NEWS DA Coin Index (NWSCo100) have increased by 0.61% (+1.96% as of yesterday EOD). The tokens based on Ethereum represented by 2100NEWS DA Ethereum Based Index (NWSET100) are 0.15% higher (+0.67% as of yesterday EOD). Bitcoin has increased by 0.60% and Ether by 0.16%.

Zcoin (XZC)

Zcoin is the first full implementation of the Sigma Protocol, which allows users to have complete privacy via zero-knowledge cryptographic proofs. It is worth noting that Zcoin is unrelated to other cryptocurrencies utilizing the Zerocash Protocol. Although Zerocash is a development from Zcoin’s old protocol Zerocoin, their respective implementations are not simple forks of each other, but rely on different cryptographic assumptions with various tradeoffs. Both approaches supplement each other quite nicely, and a good way to describe them would be sibling projects.

Top movers of the day at 13:10 are KickToken and Sero which has surged 16.82% since morning. KickToken has increased by 6.58% and Syscoin by 1.49%.

Generally, the crypto markets are lower than in the morning but still much higher than 24 hours ago. Since morning the coins measured by 2100NEWS DA Coin Index (NWSCo100) have decreased by 1.38%. Non-Ethereum tokens represented by 2100NEWS DA NonEthereum Based Index (NWSOT50) are only 0.53% lower. Our main 2100NEWS Digital Assets Total Index (NWST1100) has decreased by 0.85%. Bitcoin and Ether are also lower: BTC -0.54%, ETH -0.98% (as of 8:30 am).

The tokens based on Ethereum represented by 2100NEWS DA Ethereum Based Index (NWSET100) have increased by 1.87%. 2100NEWS Digital Assets Total Index (NWST1100) which measures the performance of the top 1100 crypto assets by market capitalization is 2.23% higher. Bitcoin and Ether also started out higher: BTC +2.13%, ETH +2.00%.
