Interview with Zenel Batagelj on Cofound.it playoffs

Cofound.it playoffs event was last week in Ljubljana. This was their first event and they are attempting to do something really different, on another level and they are setting new standards. They want to do startup projects correctly.

6 teams are participating in this project for the next big ICO, but Zenel Batagelj said that this is not a competition but teams are interconnected and that they are building a community to help each other. Batagelj himself already invested in some of these projects.

Zenelj Batagelj said that younger generations have a good opportunity to create new projects. He said that you can succeed in this distributive economy because a lot of young people has a good potential, idea and vision and they can easily collect their funds.

Batagelj added:

“It’s not about getting money, it’s about doing the right thing.”

But like everywhere, frauds are present in this business too, there are a lot of falls projects that just pump up prices as he calls it “catch to cash” projects. This kind of projects are giving bad light to a whole community, but as he said the market will decide what is good.
